what your school
actually stands for.

how we work

most school videos start with the camera. ours starts with the strategy.

We've sat in enough principal offices and marketing meetings to know that the brief is almost never just "make a video." It's enrolments. It's parent confidence. It's how the school is perceived against the others on the shortlist. We build every project around those outcomes, not around the run sheet.

01

start with the outcome

Before we plan a single shot, we work with the leadership and marketing teams on what the film needs to achieve. Where it sits in the enrolment journey. What it has to communicate to a parent who knows nothing about the school yet, and how it has to impact the parent who is choosing between you and three other schools.

02

capture what's already there

Schools are already doing the work that matters. The faith formation, the academic care, the small everyday moments that define the culture. Our job isn't to invent a story. It's to spend enough time inside the school to see what's already there, then put it on screen honestly. Real students. Real staff. Real parents. No actors. No scripted voice-over.

03

build it to last the year

A film that only works once is an expensive film. We design every project so the assets carry across the website, social, the enrolment system, internal communications, and the calendar moments that matter most: Open Day, HSC results, graduations, key launches. Better yet, the most evergreen pieces keep earning their place for years.

selected work

three recent school projects.

Each of these started with a specific outcome the school needed and ended with assets that are still working months after delivery. Different schools. Different briefs. The same approach.

oran park anglican college · brand film

bringing the heart, and the head, of opac to life.

A three-film system built around the school's biggest enrolment moment. The brand film looped in the main hall through Open Day, reached 13,000 organic views on Facebook, and now lives across the website, social, and the enrolment system.

inaburra school · alumni testimonial

an alumni story for the families weighing year 7.

Built for Inaburra's Discover High School event. A film told entirely by graduates of the school, designed to give prospective Year 7 families a clear, honest picture of what the senior years actually formed in them. The kind of story prospective families need to hear from someone other than the school itself.

edmund rice college · centenary year

one hundred years, told in a single piece.

A milestone film for a school marking its centenary. Designed to anchor the year's communications, hold up at the centenary events themselves, and stay useful long after the official anniversary closes.

Working with the Vibe Society team was an extremely positive experience. They took the time to understand the heart of Oran Park Anglican College, resulting in a suite of videos that authentically capture who we are as a vibrant learning community. We've ended up with a really wonderful result that authentically reflects the OPAC difference.

how we partner

three ways to work with us, depending on where your school is.

Some schools want one strong project. Others want a year-long partnership that maps to their strategic plan. We've structured three clear ways to engage, so the conversation can start with what fits, not with a guessing game on price.

single project

A defined piece of work, scoped and delivered against a clear outcome. Often the first chapter of a longer story.

  • One hero film or short campaign series
  • Pre-production strategy session
  • Production days and post-production scoped to the brief
  • Delivery across web, social, and key channels

multi-year retainer

For schools using video as a permanent piece of the marketing function. Sustained partnership across two or more years, with a deeper content backbone.

  • All of the strategic partnership inclusions
  • Larger annual hero pieces and signature moments
  • Recurring short-form content for newsletters and social
  • Priority response on ad-hoc capture requests

We tailor every partnership to the school. Pricing is shared on a call, after we've understood what you're trying to achieve.

who we are

a husband and wife team who understand schools from the parent side.

Vibe Society is run by Isaac and Sam Viglione, a married couple based in Sydney with three young sons of our own. We've been professional videographers for more than a decade, and along the way have built a tailored team of trusted collaborators to support us. Schools work with the two of us from the first call through to the final delivery. No account layers. No junior handoffs.

why this matters for your school

We're not just producing video for schools. We're parents weighing the same enrolment questions, sitting in the same Open Day audiences, and reading the same school newsletters as the families you're trying to reach. That perspective shows up in the work, in the questions we ask in the brief, and in the conversations we have with your marketing team.

questions schools usually ask

a few of the things principals and marketing leads ask first.

do we need a whole partnership, or can we start with one project?

+
Either works. Most school relationships begin with a single project. A brand film, an alumni piece, an Open Day asset. If it goes well and the strategic fit is there, we usually have a conversation about a 12-month partnership in the months that follow. Starting small is a perfectly legitimate way to test whether we're the right team for your school.

how much does this typically cost?

+
It depends on the scope, the production size, and whether the work is a single project or a sustained partnership. We share pricing on a call, once we've understood the outcome you need and the budget envelope you're working with. If your school is exploring whether video fits this year, the most useful first step is a 30-minute conversation.

how long does a project usually take from brief to delivery?

+
A typical school project runs 4 to 6 weeks from briefing to final delivery, depending on shoot complexity and approval cycles. The earlier we start, the more strategic the work. Compressed timelines work when there's a fixed event like Open Day driving them, but the thinking time is what makes the films land.

do you actually understand how schools work?

+
Yes. We work almost exclusively with schools and we've sat through enough leadership meetings, council reviews, parent communications cycles, and enrolment campaigns to know where the politics, sensitivities, and real opportunities sit. We respect the difference between speaking to principals, marketing leads, parents, and prospective families. Each one needs different framing.

who actually works on our project?

+
Both of us. Isaac and Sam are on every school project from the first call to the final delivery. Isaac leads strategy and direction. Sam owns the creative and post-production craft. You don't get passed to a junior account manager once the contract is signed, because there isn't one to pass you to.

can we see the films you've made for other schools?

+
Some of our work is in the case study section above. We can share additional examples, including unlisted films we've made for current school partners, on a discovery call. If there's a specific style or outcome you're interested in, mention it when you reach out and we'll bring relevant work to the conversation.

do you only work with schools?

+
Schools are our primary focus. We also work with a small number of commercial clients where there's a strong fit, including brands like Oztent. If you're a school, that's almost certainly the right starting conversation. If you're not, get in touch and we'll have an honest chat about whether we're the right team for the work.

we also work with select commercial brands.

Most of what we do sits inside the school sector. A small portion of our work is for commercial clients where the brief calls for the same strategic, story-first approach we bring to schools.
